Great Loop Information--Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway Association
Our guest this week is Brad Pickel, Executive Director of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway Association. Brad will be filling us on on the Association's Annual Meeting, recently held in Charleston, SC, as well as updating us on issues surrounding the Waterway.
While the 2026 legislative session in Florida ended back in the spring, the work continues to keep the waterways of the Great Loop open and safe for recreational vessels.
AGLCA has been working closely with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to help our members prepare for an upcoming closure at Brandon Road Lock & Dam (Illinois Waterway Mile 286).
