Do you enjoy helping others discover the Great Loop?

Our Ambassador Program connects prospective AGLCA members with experienced, engaged members who are passionate about AGLCA and the Great Loop lifestyle. Ambassadors help introduce others to AGLCA through their personal networks, social media, blogs, videos, events, and conversations throughout their Great Loop journey. Members interested in becoming an AGLCA Ambassador must submit an application to be considered. Because Ambassador positions are limited, we’re unable to accept every applicant. Each application is reviewed individually, with selections based on the current needs and goals of the program.

In return for their support in growing AGLCA’s reach, ambassadors will receive 10% of the signup for any new members who use their personalized code to join AGLCA. New members will also receive $10 off their membership when they use an ambassador code. 

 

Who Should Apply?

You may be a great Ambassador if you: 

  • Are enthusiastic about AGLCA and the Great Loop community 

  • Regularly connect with future Loopers, boaters, cruisers, or people interested in the Great Loop 

  • Create boating or travel-related content 

  • Participate in boat shows, seminars, cruising clubs, marina events, or other boating communities 

  • Enjoy answering questions and helping others begin their Great Loop journey 

  • Are willing to consistently and accurately represent AGLCA 

You do not need to have a large social media following to apply. We are interested in Ambassadors who have genuine connections with people who may be interested in joining AGLCA, regardless of where that connection is formed. 

 

How the Program Works

  1. Apply - Complete the Ambassador Program application below and tell us a little about yourself, your experience with AGLCA and the Great Loop, and how you plan to introduce others to the organization 

  2. Receive your Unique Code - Ambassadors will receive a unique referral code to share with prospective members. 

  3. Share AGLCA - Promote AGLCA through your own platforms, content, and conversations. 

  4. New Members Save - When a new member uses your unique code, they will receive $10 off their new AGLCA membership. 

  5. You Earn Commission - You will earn 10% of the qualifying new membership when the new member uses your unique Ambassador code.

We appreciate your interest in helping to share the Great Loop experience and will carefully review each application.

AGLCA Ambassadors are expected to: 

  • Represent AGLCA professionally and positively 
  • Share accurate information about AGLCA and its programs 
  • Share their unique Ambassador code only through their own channels and networks 
  • Refrain from posting Ambassador codes in AGLCA-managed channels 
  • Follow all applicable platform rules and advertising guidelines
