Join AGLCA and re-connect with your fellow Gold Loopers at the 2024 Gold Looper Reunion being held in conjunction with the Winter Rendezvous in Punta Gorda, FL at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center.

The reunion will kick off with a cash bar reception and dinner on Tuesday, January 23rd. This dinner will be for Gold Loopers only. Then, the next day, there will be sessions on cruising to The Bahamas and cruising the Down East Loop as well as roundtable discussions on various topics. During a combined lunch with Winter Rendezvous attendees, you’ll have the opportunity to impart your wisdom and experience to those currently cruising or planning to cruise the Great Loop.
You’re also welcome to participate in the social camaraderie during the Looper Crawls being held at Laishley Park Municipal Marina the afternoons of January 23rd and 24th. If you are wintering at the marina and would like to open your boat for Winter Rendezvous attendees to tour, you can indicate that during the registration process. Unfortunately, due to very limited slips for the Winter Rendezvous, we are unable to offer slips to Gold Looper Reunion attendees.

Rooms are on a first come, first served basis for Winter Rendezvous and Gold Looper Reunion attendees so register and reserve early to ensure you get the room of your choice.

If you are not wintering at the Winter Rendezvous marina and still wish to come by boat, there are other marinas in the area but due to peak season, they are likely to be sold out. You can find a listing of those on Waterway Guide's website. Anchoring is also an option and you can find details here.

FEES
Gold Looper Reunion registration is $100/person. Registration includes one cash bar reception, one Gold Looper dinner, one combined lunch with Rendezvous attendees and sessions on January 24th. Registration will be open through Sunday, January 14th or whenever we reach capacity for the event, whichever comes first.
Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel, we will refund your registration fees less a cancellation penalty as follows, based on your cancellation date:
October 23-January 14: $50
After January 14: No refund
OTHER DETAILS
Overall Event Times: The "official" event begins Tuesday, January 23rd at 6:00 pm with a cash bar reception, but please plan to pick up your name badge and welcome materials any time that day in the Ship's Store or during the reception from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The Reunion will end after the afternoon sessions on Wednesday, January 24th around 2:30 pm.
Nearest Airport: The Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) is less than 8 miles away from our event location but flights are limited. For more flight options, the Ft. Myers (RSW) and Sarasota/Bradenton (SRQ) airports are both within 40 miles of Punta Gorda.
Event Emails: Please be sure to add [email protected] to your contact list or safe senders list in your email account. Your registration confirmation email, and other important emails leading up to the Reunion, will come from this address. We'd hate for you to miss something because our emails land in your spam folder.
Other Helpful Tips:
- For the comfort of all attendees, no pets will be allowed in the meal/session spaces. Service animals are permitted.
- Meeting rooms are often chilly. Please consider dressing in layers.
- The dress for all parts of the Reunion, including the dinner, is very casual.
