The 2027 Gold Looper Reunion is built specifically around this unique position you hold as a veteran Looper: part celebrated alumni, part expert guide, and part adventurer looking for the next horizon. Come celebrate your Gold or Platinum Looper status with us at the Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center January 25th and 26th in Punta Gorda, FL.
Whether you're looking to tackle another iconic waterway, explore post-Loop travel styles, expand your cruising knowledge, or simply catch up with fellow cruisers over great food and drinks, the Reunion offers the perfect mix of practical insights and dedicated social time tailored specifically for you!
SESSIONS & SOCIAL TIME
We'll kick off the reunion on Monday afternoon, January 25th, with targeted sessions covering RVing After the Loop and Cruising to The Bahamas. Afterwards, unwind at an exclusive private Gold & Platinum Looper cash bar reception and dinner. This evening is dedicated entirely to reconnecting with your fellow fleetmates, friends, and dockmates who shared in your journey, while welcoming our newest Gold Loopers into this distinctive group of achievers.
Then on Tuesday, January 26th, you can continue exploring new cruising horizons both in North America and overseas—because completing the Loop doesn't mean your cruising adventures have to end! Tuesday's featured sessions include: French Canals and the Down East Circle Loop (DECL).
On Tuesday, you'll also have the chance to pay it forward as a mentor during a combined lunch with Great Loop Discovery attendees, where you can share your real-world wisdom, lessons learned, budget realities, and favorite Great Loop stops with prospective Loopers preparing for their journey. Afterwards, you can continue sharing your experience by facilitating a roundtable discussion on a Great Loop topic you're passionate about—guiding discussions on electronics, anchoring, locks, onboard life, or another essential cruising subject.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
AGLCA has secured discounted room blocks at the following hotels. Registration confirmations will include instructions on how to reserve rooms at the discounted rates listed below. Rooms are on a first come, first served basis for Great Loop Discovery and Gold Looper Reunion attendees so register and reserve early to ensure you get the room of your choice.

Discounted Rate: $229/night plus taxes and fees

Discounted Rate: $199/night plus $12 destination fee and taxes
Reservation Deadline: January 10, 2027
MARINA SLIPS
Due to hurricane damage, there are no slips in the immediate area but to the best of our knowledge, the day dock at Laishley Marina is available for dinghies so you can anchor out near there and dinghy in for the event. The nearest operational marina is Burnt Store, but staying there will require a car to get to the event center.

FEES
The Gold Looper Reunion registration fee is $125 per person and includes one cash bar reception and one Gold Looper dinner on January 25th as well as one combined lunch with Great Loop Discovery attendees and sessions just for Gold Loopers on January 25th and 26th. Tickets are non-transferrable. Sessions and meal activities are not allowed to be recorded. Registration will be open through Sunday, January 17th or whenever we reach capacity for the event, whichever comes first.
Cancellation Policy: Should you need to cancel, we will refund your registration fees less a cancellation penalty as follows, based on your cancellation date:
Gold Looper Reunion Policy
October 26-January 17: $50
After January 17: No refund unless slots are filled. Then refunds will be processed less a $50 cancellation fee.
OTHER DETAILS
Overall Event Times: The "official" event is expected to begin on Monday, January 25th at 3:00 pm with two sessions followed by a cash bar reception and dinner, but please plan to pick up your name badge and welcome materials any time that day between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. The Reunion will end after the afternoon sessions on Tuesday, January 26th around 5:00 pm. Check back for exact times when the agenda is finalized, though.
Nearest Airport: The Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) is less than 8 miles away from our event location but flights are limited. For more flight options, the Ft. Myers (RSW) and Sarasota/Bradenton (SRQ) airports are both within 40 miles of Punta Gorda.
Event Emails: Please be sure to add [email protected] to your contact list or safe senders list in your email account. Your registration confirmation email, and other important emails leading up to the Reunion, will come from this address. We'd hate for you to miss something because our emails land in your spam folder.
Other Helpful Tips:
- For the comfort of all attendees, no pets will be allowed in the meal/session spaces. Service animals are permitted.
- Meeting rooms are often chilly. Please consider dressing in layers.
- The dress for all parts of the Reunion, including the dinner, is very casual.
