Welcome to AGLCA's Virtual Docktails where Loopers can connect on special interest topics! Each Zoom social breakout room will be hosted by a Gold Looper or a representative from AGLCA. The groups are intended to be interactive and fun with no structured agenda or presentations!  For the September 17th virtual event, the breakout room topics and facilitators are below.

Future Fleet of 2026 hosted by Tsali & Jacque Bentley, Compass Rose
Are you a member of the Future Fleet of 2026? (i.e. You're planning to start and/or finish the Loop in 2026?) If so, you won't want to miss our Virtual Docktails! Platinum Loopers, Tsali and Jacque Bentley, will be hosting a breakout room designed for our upcoming Looper fleet. This will be an awesome way to connect with other members who may be your Buddy Boats very soon. Attendees will have the chance to share plans, timelines, to-do lists, and most of all begin building relationships.

Southbound on the Inland Rivers hosted by Wes & Amy Litsey, Toscana
Most Loopers love to chase warm weather, which means it's time to begin the journey down the inland river system. Love them or hate them (perhaps you don't know yet!), the inland rivers are an inevitable part of your Loop route. From navigating locks to hidden gem towns and anchorages, there's no shortage of memorable experiences on the inland rivers. Join our hosts and Tennessee River natives, Wes and Amy Litsey, to discuss all things pertaining to the trip south.

Loopers with Pets hosted by Tim & Diane Vandersall, Wilma May
Calling all Loopers with 4-legged crew members, this docktails is for you. BYOP (Bring Your Own Pet) and get to know other Loopers who share your love of fur on boats! Future Loopers with pets are welcome to join and learn all the tips and tricks. This session will be hosted by Gold Loop Pup, Maggie, and her owners, Tim and Diane Vandersall.

West Coast Loopers hosted by Brenda & Lance Williamson, Blessings Flow
What does it look like to begin and end a journey that starts thousands of miles from your hometown? Together the West Coast Loopers group can share tips for staying in touch with family and friends in a different time zone, finding and buying a boat when you’re not geographically near the Loop, considerations for towing or shipping a boat from the West Coast to the Loop, and much more. Join your hosts, Brenda and Lance Williamson, Gold Loopers hailing from Tacoma, WA. And don't miss the opportunity to connect with your West Coast neighbors!

Size Doesn't Matter (Boats Under '30) hosted by David Kanzler & Nancy Bingham, Hygge
You may have noticed on social media this summer, we have Loopers on all different sized boats! Although it may have been highlighted more recently, this isn't a new phenomenon. Each year's fleet has a good number of Loopers who select boats under 30'. Join hosts, David Kanzler & Nancy Bingham, in this Virtual Docktails group as we discuss the pros and cons of Looping on a smaller boat! Come prepared to share tips, challenges, and secrets of Looping on a smaller boat. We also welcome future boat owners with questions!

AGLCA Member Q&A hosted by Kim Russo (The Perch), AGLCA Director
Meet some of our newest members (or long-term members with questions!) during this open Q&A facilitated by AGLCA Director Kim Russo. We recommend you check out our website tutorials to get an idea of the membership benefits available to you, and then come with your questions about anything and everything related to AGLCA. Kim will be happy to answer whatever is unclear about what AGLCA offers. We are fortunate to have a full-time staff ready and willing to help as you plan and execute your Great Loop adventure.  Use this session to learn more about everything included with your AGLCA membership or ask Kim general questions about the Great Loop.

During the registration process, you will inidicate which breakout room you plan to attend but you will also be able to move to another breakout room during the event if you choose to do so.

Upon registering, you will receive the Zoom link for the virtual docktails but you will also be able to find it in "My Events", which can be found under "My Account" on the homepage menu bar of the AGLCA website when you are logged in.  Just click "View Booking" by the appropriate event to see the Zoom link.

Registration closes on Wednesday, September 17th at noon eastern.
