Welcome to AGLCA's Virtual Docktails where Loopers can connect on special interest topics! Each Zoom social breakout room will be hosted by a Gold Looper or a representative from AGLCA. The groups are intended to be interactive and fun with no structured agenda or presentations!  For the October 15th virtual event, the breakout room topics are below.

I Don't Know What I Don't Know
Go ahead and wave the white flag (both literally and figuratively!) You can hang your brand new burgee, AND admit you still have some questions. In many cases, you don't even know what you don't know. And that's okay! Join us for an interactive virtual docktails where you will be in community with other Loopers trying to figure it all out. A seasoned Looper will help guide you through the evening, answering questions and providing some first hand insight into Looping.

Solo Loopers
Calling all SOLO Loopers! Over the last few years, the AGLCA has seen an increase in solo Loopers. If this is something you've done or you're considering, it will be a great time to connect and discuss the triumphs and challenges of solo Looping.

Gold Loopers Still Cruising

Are you a Gold Looper still cruising? If so, this Virtual Docktails is for you! We love that so many of our members extend their cruising past the wake crossing. Are you spending time doing more side trips? Maybe you're living your best boat life at a favorite stop you visited on your Loop? Or possibly you're making your way around the Loop again? Whatever adventure has kept you cruising, we can't wait to hear about it! This breakout room is sure to be a fun collection of seasoned Loopers with great stories and also an excellent forum for a new member looking for experienced advice!

Tennessee River Side Trips
Short of the Bahamas, we're not sure there's another side trip with so many options! On a traditional Loop route, boats exit the Tennessee River in Pickwick Lake to head south on the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway. But why not build in a little extra time to explore cities like Florence, Huntsville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and all of the smaller towns along the way? If you're a fan of any/all of the Tennessee River side trips, please join our virtual docktails discussion. We'd love to have a mix of Loopers who've boated these side trips, and those looking forward to exploring these waters.

Carver Owners Unite
Did you know that Carver is one of the most popular boat-makes on the Loop? If you're the owner of a Carver, join this group of Loopers who share a love of the brand. The conversation doesn't need to stay specific to your boats, but we know you'll have a lot in common right off the bat. We also encourage anyone considering purchasing a Carver to join in; however, please do so at your own risk. We can almost guarantee you'll end the night sold on a Carver!

AGLCA Member Q&A
Meet some of our newest members (or long-term members with questions!) during this open Q&A facilitated by AGLCA Director Kim Russo. We recommend you check out our website tutorials to get an idea of the membership benefits available to you, and then come with your questions about anything and everything related to AGLCA. Kim will be happy to answer whatever is unclear about what AGLCA offers. We are fortunate to have a full-time staff ready and willing to help as you plan and execute your Great Loop adventure.  Use this session to learn more about everything included with your AGLCA membership or ask Kim general questions about the Great Loop.

During the registration process, you will inidicate which breakout room you plan to attend but you will also be able to move to another breakout room during the event if you choose to do so.

Upon registering, you will receive the Zoom link for the virtual docktails but you will also be able to find it in "My Events", which can be found under "My Account" on the homepage menu bar of the AGLCA website when you are logged in.  Just click "View Booking" by the appropriate event to see the Zoom link.

Registration closes on Wednesday, October 15th at noon eastern.
