Welcome to AGLCA's Virtual Docktails where Loopers can connect on special interest topics! Each Zoom social breakout room will be hosted by a Gold Looper or a representative from AGLCA. The groups are intended to be interactive and fun with no structured agenda!  For the June 18th virtual event, the breakout room topics are below.  Hosts for each room will be announced soon.

Staying Active on the Loop
We're often asked by new members how it's possible to stay active while Looping. Maybe it's the idea of living in a smaller space, or maybe it's just all of the talk about good food on the Loop, but either way some people get the impression that you'll gain weight while Looping. While we can't guarantee that you won't, we can promise that it isn't difficult to stay active while doing the Loop!

Join this discussion if you're excited to share with others how you stayed active during your Loop! We'll look forward to hearing from fitness experts, and others who've made a point to get in their steps and stay active. Please bring your questions, suggestions and fun ideas for staying active while Looping!

Harbor Hosts hosted by Robert & Kay Creech, Porch Time
One of the earmark benefits of being a member of the AGLCA is access to our Harbor Hosts. Our Harbor Hosts are volunteers who lend a helping hand to other Loopers as they pass through their home ports.  Members in need of local knowledge or assistance, or who just want to say hello to a Harbor Host on their way through, reach out via phone or email. Harbor Hosts provide advice and information on local services and things to see and do.

If you're a Harbor Host (thank you!) we'd love for you to join this discussion to connect with other Harbor Hosts. Share ideas and ways that you provide support for our members! If you're a member with questions about connecting with a Harbor Host, this will be an awesome opportunity to get your questions answered. We look forward to this being a special group with some of our most valued and appreciated members!

Trent-Severn
Summer Loop season is upon us and many of our Loopers will venture onto the Trent-Severn Waterway soon. Many of our Gold and Platinum Loopers look back on their time on the Trent-Severn as a highlight of their Loop.

Please join us for an interactive discussion about all things Trent-Severn related. If you've navigated this route, please come with some tips and advice to share. And if you're planning to travel this route in the future, this will be a great forum for you to ask questions. We'd also love for some of our local members to join in and weigh in on can't-miss experiences in your home waters!

Loop Navigation
What tools do you use for Loop navigation? With so many apps and electronics available these days, there's always a great debate about the best and latest resources for navigation.

Please join this discussion if you have tips, opinions and ideas to share. Or, if you have questions about Loop navigation! We will look forward to a lively discussion on all things pertaining to navigating Loop waters.

Women on the Loop
Back by popular demand! Ladies, please join us to connect with other women about the exciting times you've experienced preparing for or cruising the Loop. You never know what will come up in this group...restaurant recommendations, grocery shopping tips, where to get your nails done, how to help with boat maintenance...you name it, and the Ladies of the Loop have discussed it!

If you're not sure you're ready to be a "Lady of the Loop", this group is also for you! It will be a great place to discuss any concerns and get some virtual support from those who've gone before you!

AGLCA Member Q&A hosted by Kim Russo (The Perch), AGLCA Director and Gold Looper
Meet some of our newest members (or long-term members with questions!) during this open Q&A facilitated by AGLCA Director Kim Russo. We recommend you check out our website tutorials to get an idea of the membership benefits available to you, and then come with your questions about anything and everything related to AGLCA. Kim will be happy to answer whatever is unclear about what AGLCA offers. We are fortunate to have a full-time staff ready and willing to help as you plan and execute your Great Loop adventure.  Use this session to learn more about everything included with your AGLCA membership or ask Kim general questions about the Great Loop.

During the registration process, you will inidicate which breakout room you plan to attend but you will also be able to move to another breakout room during the event if you choose to do so.

Upon registering, you will receive the Zoom link for the virtual docktails but you will also be able to find it in "My Events", which can be found under "My Account" on the homepage menu bar of the AGLCA website when you are logged in.  Just click "View Booking" by the appropriate event to see the Zoom link.

Registration closes on Wednesday, June 18th at noon eastern.
