The Maryland 37 is an ideal coastal cruising TRAWLER POWER CATAMARAN excellent for The Great Loop, beam under 17 ft for excellent slip availability and due to hull form, excellent seagoing qualities. Her two hulls and two engines provide ease maneuvering, allowing the Maryland to evolve in small spaces. With long cruising range 1000+ nautical miles (8-9 knots) per manufacturer: twin diesel Yanmar 125hp engines meticulously maintained- access via back deck (not inside boat--smelly). Removed propane, range/oven (Admiral didn't like propane on boat)...replaced with countertop induction burner (low amps, low heat) and toaster/oven. Microwave installed (and had a crockpot/coffee maker/bullet for additional need) Lots of counter space, built in drain area, removed the 2 small sinks and replaced with large one bowl sink. By modifying the galley, we got more storage area and countertop!
