After completing our Great Loop aboard Captain Kidd II, we have decided it is time for her next owner. This 2025 Aspen C108 has a cruising history that will be particularly meaningful to fellow Loopers: 11,371 Great Loop miles over 14 months, through three countries, 20 states and more than 190 locks, plus more than 800 miles cruising the Pacific Northwest in U.S. and Canadian waters before the Loop.

The Aspen’s asymmetrical power-catamaran hull gives the C108 outstanding fuel efficiency while maintaining the stability and comfort that make a catamaran so attractive for extended cruising. Captain Kidd II is equipped for genuine live-aboard and long-distance use with Garmin electronics, radar and autopilot, Starlink, solar, additional battery capacity, bow and stern thrusters, air conditioning, full galley, enclosed head, forward berth and generous salon and cockpit space. At the same time, she remains very manageable for a couple and works equally well for shorter coastal and weekend cruising.
Additional information
She is powered by a Mercury 200 HP with approximately 1,125 hours and Mercury 115 HP with approximately 850 hours and includes a 2024 True Kit Navigator 300 with Mercury 9.9 HP and quick-lock launching wheels. She has received extensive recent service and detailing, and I have the factory build information, maintenance/service records and more detail available for anyone seriously interested.
