2007 Meridian 459 with low hour Cummins 5.9 QSB 380 hp Diesels. Current owner purchased this boat in Pensacola Fl and brought it to Knoxville TN in 2019.
Engines show 712 hours, Onan Generator shows 861 hrs and all have had recent service of Oil/Filters, Fuel filters, Racor filters, and impellers. If you plan to travel, you don’t have to settle for a slow trawler with limited interior space. The Meridian 459 offers a spacious cabin including two staterooms with ensuite heads/showers, large open salon, great cockpit and comfortable helm … and …if you want to cross the Gulf of America in Daylight … typically 180 miles to 200 miles depending on route, you can run 21 mph at 80% load (2600 rpm) burning 30 gph which is .7 mpg . . . or if you want to do an overnight and buddy boat with a trawler, you can run 7.5 mph (1000 rpm) with a total fuel burn of 2.4 gph and get 3 mpg. Even if your travel plans are to boat locally, it’s nice to know you have options. You will appreciate the quiet, smooth, no diesel soot, and very fuel efficient QSB motors.

Those long travel days are made easier with the Garmin Electronics on this boat … the chart plotter supports Active Captain for planning, adding a route is simple … then engage the autopilot … makes traveling on the rivers a breeze not having to hand steer all day, a great stress reliver. The depth sounder gives both a visual of the depth and a picture of what the seabed looks like when in skinny water. When you run out of daylight or fog sets in, you will love the Garmin Fantom Radar with Motion Scope… easy to set, read, and it helps identify oncoming traffic reducing stress when visibility is reduced. And of course, this boat has AIS making it easy to identify and speak with on coming barges and commercial traffic. This boat also has the Garmin Gateway, one of my favorite items because you get real time fuel flow per engine displayed on the chart plotter. Say you are traveling 10 mph and burning 4.5 gph total. You could pull power back to 3.5 gph total and may find the speed is now 9 mph saving 1 gph at $4.00 per gallon. On those 10 hour days, you just saved $40.00. And you can also display your range till empty. The gateway gives you options to save money; you will love it. The VDO Gauge package gives a lot of flexibility and options for monitoring what is going on with your engines over the standard analog gauges. You will love the updated electronics on this boat. And yes, this boat has docking on command, bow and stern thrusters.

Exterior seating surfaces have been updated, and the isinglass and canvas have been replaced. Inside, the salon includes a fold-out bed and an optional recliner, while the full galley features an oven, stovetop, microwave, and spacious refrigerator/freezer and washer/dryer. Travel comfortably with abundant natural light from the salon’s expansive windows and a wide 14’ foot beam that gives the boat the feel of a floating condo. Bring your clothes and gear, there is ample storage throughout the galley, salon, and staterooms.

And … you may have heard the stories of sending a boat to survey to find out there are some soft areas in the stringers and bulk heads. This is becoming more of a reality as boats age. This boat also had a few of these issues, however the owner has spared you the expense and down time and had these areas repaired. The survey identifying these areas, invoice of the repairs, and both surveyor and company doing the repairs are available to answer any questions you may have. In addition, this boat was hauled July 2026, to replace a shaft seal that had a slight leak. Examination showed the bottom paint is thin but useable with no blisters, cutlass bearings were ok, and both props were balanced leaving a boat that runs very smooth and vibration free. This boat is ready to enjoy and travel.

I am a broker representing the owner and available to answer any questions you may have. You can text but prefer a phone call as this is the best way to clearly communicate and . . . have more videos and pictures which are available on request. As a side note, I have personally owned three Meridians, a 381, 490, and currently a 580. Love the brand, have traveled thousands of miles on these boats and can assist with maintenance ideas, travel plans, delivery, insurance, and financing. I look forward to your call.
