Enjoyed by the current owners since 2020, this Catalina 400 MKII has been cruised locally on the Chesapeake Bay and offers plenty of wide-open space inside and out. She is equipped with a dinghy, davits, outboard hoist, water maker, and a wind generator for extended journeys. This beamy cruiser has a wide cockpit that is well suited for entertaining with a large table w/ folding leaves and comfortable seating protected by a full isinglass enclosure. There is easy access to the water from the walk-through transom and swim platform with ladder. Twin helm stations mean great visibility while under sail or while maneuvering in tight spaces. Wide side decks allow for unobstructed access to the bow while handling lines or tending to sails. Down below, the large u-shaped galley is well appointed with front and top loading refrigeration, large double sink, a gimbaled LPG Stove/oven, and great storage. The private aft owner's stateroom features a centerline queen berth, settees on either side of the bed, large storage lockers, and ensuite private head with separate shower stall. The salon has nice upholstery, large convertible dinette, and port settee with nav desk. The forward private stateroom has a large v-berth and enclosed wet head.
