Mai Thai, a 1989 Jefferson 37 aft cabin motor yacht, has been lovingly owned for 24 years by her current owner. She was purchased by them in the New England area and enjoyed up and down the east coast until they came around and fell in love with Tennessee. She has now been on the Tennessee River for about 15 years. They are now ready to pursue other adventures making this well cared for vessel available to you.

She is powered by twin Cummins 5.9 diesels. She has 2 staterooms and 2 heads. Her autopilot and generator are relatively new. The generator only has 452 hours on her. She has 4 known shortcomings...her tachometers work intermittently, her bottom paint is old, she does not have a chart plotter or radar, and one of the two reverse cycle Hvac units are inoperable but were replaced by a wall unit that does not require water.
Additional information
JEFFERSON designed this boat on a low-dead rise, solid fiberglass hull with a shallow keel and an unusually wide 14'5" beam. Her interior is of beautiful teak, characteristic of Taiwanese boats, yet her floors and exterior are all fiberglass for easy maintenance. Other features that make this boat desirable is her split forward head layout giving the shower its own space. For a true 37' boat she is very roomy, boasting a full walk around berth in the aft cabin and a dinette in the galley. She is used often which has kept all her parts well lubricated and ready for continued cruising.
