Hello fellow loopers, my name is Michael Koch, I am a retired healthcare professional with no schedule. If you are traveling solo and need a deckhand to help with docking and locks (or even if there are two of you but you feel more comfortable with an extra set of experienced hands) I am available to help. I have assisted several people with moving their vessels down the river system and across the gulf and I am once again available to help. I have piloted a wide range of craft from pontoons to sailboats and motor yachts. I have experience crossing the Great Lakes, the inland river system, the gulf, traversing Okeechobee and several sections of the ICW as well as having lived in both NYC and along the Erie Canal in upstate NY. I presently live on a large lake in South West Michigan. I have references available as well as multiple useful talents, one of which is being a good cook.
