The RF246 Trawler is fully trailerable while featuring great stability, seaworthiness, comfort, and safety in roomy accommodations. She is set up for comfortable, economical long distance cruising on a wide variety of waterways. With her fully enclosed cabin and stern bad weather is not a factor. The sliding pilot doors at the Captain and co-pilot seats make locking, docking and rafting up a breeze: just get close and reach out to cleat lines. Her hull design, built for the North Atlantic coast, handles rough seas safely. Her shallow draft makes exploring rivers, canals and remote locations possible. The long, flat roof makes a wonderful spot to hang out at anchor or dock. The twin outboards provide redundancy and make navigating docks and locks easy. She is easy to launch and retrieve from the bunk trailer.

We purchased her in 2021, added a trailer, replaced the original Yamaha T60 motors and updated her electronics. She saw some salt water during a Great Loop voyage with the previous owner but has been a fresh water gal ever since.

We have done extended cruises with her on the Canadian Rideau and Trent-Seven waterways in addition to a few day cruises on our home river in Wisconsin.
