Nothing could be finer than Springtime in South Carolina, so...
Join us for our Spring Rendezvous & Reunion!
April 25-28, 2010

We'll meet in a new location with everything on site
It's lovely in North Myrtle Beach - we'll see ya'll there!

Imagine 100s of Loopers in one vessel, comfortably cruising the Looping leg from South Carolina into the Canadian waterways. Well, you don't have to imagine. Join us for exactly such an experience at AGLCA's 2010 Spring Rendezvous & Reunion!  Okay, so technically the vessel might be a land-locked meeting facility...and the cruising on the virtual side...but we can assure you, the Looper experience will still be amazing.

We're extra-excited this year because, by member request, we've found a site that allows for everything in one location. That's right...AGLCA's 2010 Spring Rendezvous & Reunion will accommodate meeting space, lodging and marina slips on site! (Can we get a collective Woo Hoo?) So, get ready for a rousing round of Kumbaya, because we are thrilled to have everyone together throughout the event!

As always, we recognize that part of the Rendezvous lure is sharing Looping lore...and having a good mix of Looping levels ensures the proper passing of such knowledge. So, we will have seminars and side sessions to satisfy every Looper-learning level - from newbies to veterans - including a special session with information about our new Harbor Host program!  Loopers who've been to a Rendezvous or two know there's nothing that compares; and, if you're one of the few folks who haven't been to a Rendezvous -- make this the one!

Oh, and did we happen to mention that the new site, The Grand Strand Resort at Barefoot Resort, is a lovely location offering a fantastic facility, fabulous food, great golf - even a sensational spa?  Now, since attendance is limited, and you know you can't resist, you might as well go ahead and log in to register today!

  • Marina - contact Dockmaster Bill Rathbun on his cell phone at 843-385-1829.  Great rates for Great Loopers... $1/foot, which includes electric and water! There is one slip left for a larger boat, and he can still accommodate boats less than 40'.  Make your reservations as soon as possible as these will sell out quickly, too.
  • Resort Condo Villas - contact reservations at 843-390-7900 and ask for Sara.  The accommodations are condo's - not true hotel rooms.  There is no "front desk" and optional housekeeping services are available at an extra cost.  The resort has sold out of single condo rooms, but they are offering two-bedroom, two-bathroom, living room, dining room and full kitchen villas for the fantastic price of $126 a night plus tax and service charge.  These golf course villas are located on the resort property about a five-minute drive from the Conference Center.
