Looper Crawl Around Rogersville &
Outdoor Concert at Longing for Home

We are very pleased to announce the Second Annual Looper Crawl around Rogersville, Ala., to take place on October 26, 2010, at the Fall Rendezvous & Reunion. The merchants of Rogersville have graciously agreed to prepare special events and activities just for Loopers. They are eager to share the treasures of their town with our members. Transportation, courtesy of the Rogersville Chamber of Commerce, will be provided from the Marina/Lodge to Rogersville, and back starting at 2 pm.

Rogersville is home to many wonderful establishments including, The Lemon Tree, Village Interiors, Café Savanna, and Sugar Creek Soaps and Candles. We’re sure there will be delightful shopping experiences in store for everyone and, it's the perfect time of year to pick up a few "stocking stuffers" for the upcoming holidays!

Then, restaurants around town will be cooking up some extra special dinners for AGLCA members who are participating in the Crawl! If they provide information on menus, we will pass it along as soon as it is available.This dinner is not included in the Rendezvous registration price.

Following dinner the shuttles will depart for a short ride to Longing for Home. Set serenely on 15 wooded acres, transected by picturesque Weaver Branch Creek, this 1880's Tennesssee style farmhouse is a great romantic hideaway, a peaceful weekend getaway or vacation destination for anyone looking to experience the renewed  “State of Mind, Place of Grace and Way of Life” of ages past that is Longing for Home.

The owners of this beautiful bed and breakfast have planned a concert featuring the Randy Basham Classic Country Band, and lots of fun activities including a s'mores roast and a bonfire. The cost for the concert is $20 per person. This will be an outdoor event around the gazebo.

A Cigar Bar and Chair Massages ($1.00/minute) will be available during the concert.
