Trip to Tanger Island
By Tom Haak

We've been in Jennings Boatyard since Thursday.  We decided to stay until Sunday because once again the weather is not cooperating.  It has been cold and rainy since Thursday with no sign of the sun.  Sunday looks like the weather will be better.

There's not much to do here, however we did find a ferry that took us over to Tangier Island which was great because we heard a lot about it and wanted to tour the island.    Tangier has a population of 700 people and their main industry is crabbing.  As we walked the island, there are homes on a lot and on the next lot are tombstones.  The tombstones are riddled throughout the small island.

Glad we didn't take our boat over because the weather was very ugly.

Until next time.
